Job Summary: White Glove Protection Group (WGP) is staffing highly skilled and experienced Executive Protection Agents to provide close protection for corporate and high-net-worth individuals overnight . The Executive Protection Agent will ensure the safety and security of the principals, adhering to all legal requirements for working security in a private residential environment in the State of California and as needed during travel. This role is critical in maintaining a secure and safe environment for the Principal. 

Shift: 10 Working Day Rotations (10 days on / 10 days off)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Executive Protection and Advance Planning 
  • Conduct Low Profile, Executive Protection of designated protectee as directed at the principal’s residence (overnight) or as directed in other locations. 
  • Provide Secure Transportation of designated principals as directed 
  • Advance Planning - Conduct advance planning of sites as directed 
  • Observe, identify, and document suspicious activities, behavioral anomalies, and hostile surveillance indicators.
  • Physically respond to suspicious persons as appropriate to ensure the physical safety and comfort of each principal is maintained. 
  • Utilize advanced observational techniques to recognize patterns of surveillance or pre-attack planning.
2. Security Sweeps
  • Fixed Site Protection: Conduct regular security sweeps of designated sites to identify and address potential security breaches or vulnerabilities.
  • Surveillance and Threat Detection: Utilize advanced surveillance techniques to detect and neutralize potential threats.
  • Proficiency in the use of verbal de-escalation and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Strong abilities in threat detection and risk management.
3. Monitoring and Communication
  • Surveillance Systems: Monitor security cameras and utilize radios, phones, and other electronic devices to maintain constant awareness of the residence’s security status.
  • Incident Reporting: Promptly report any suspicious activities or security breaches to the Operations Manager and Management team as directed.
4. Access Control
  • Security Measures: Ensure all gates, alarms, doors, and windows are secured at all times as directed.
5. Emergency Action Plans
  • Coordination: Develop and coordinate emergency action plans to respond effectively to security or emergency situations
  • Crisis Management: Act swiftly and efficiently in emergency situations to ensure the safety of the residence and its occupants.
6. Coordination with Staff
  • Team Integration: Coordinate with the Executive Admin and others as designated to ensure a cohesive security strategy is curated to the needs of the principals.
  • Information Sharing: Maintain open communication channels with appropriate staff and security personnel to ensure the optimal safety and confidentiality of the principals.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Advanced education or relevant certifications in security or law enforcement are preferred.
  • License: Current California BSIS Guard Card and Other Permits as required
  • Experience: 
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-time Close Protection
    • 8 years of residential protection, law enforcement, military, or related field.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent soft skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Capability to perform security sweeps and monitor surveillance systems.
  • Attributes:
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
    • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and environments.
    • Formal medical training is highly desirable including EMR/EMT-B/EMT-P
Working Conditions:
  • Environment: This position requires working in a private residential setting with the expectation of maintaining a high-security presence from a low-profile posture.
  • Nights: Interested Agents should be prepared to work nights for an extended period.
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Fitness: Must maintain a high level of physical fitness to perform security duties effectively.
  • Stamina: Ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
