Job Title: Corporate Security Agent

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA
Reporting To: Embedded Director of Corporate Security
Status: Full-Time

Compensation: $50 - $60 per hour, depending on experience

The Corporate Security Agent maintains a polished, discreet, and client-aligned presence across the corporate headquarters. Security responsibilities are carried out in a manner that protects people, assets, and operations without disrupting the professional environment or employee experience.

2. Safety and Security Awareness Across Multiple Posts

Through attentive observation, sound judgment, and proactive engagement, the Corporate Security Agent identifies safety, security, and service issues across multiple assigned posts, including the lobby, executive floor, and rover assignment.

3. Client Service and Access Control Excellence

The Corporate Security Agent supports a high-touch corporate environment by assisting with visitor management, maintaining access control standards, and responding professionally to the needs of executives, employees, and authorized guests.

4. Real-Time Response and Adaptability

Changes in activity, building conditions, executive schedules, or security concerns are managed calmly and efficiently. The Corporate Security Agent is expected to adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and respond appropriately to incidents, service requests, and emerging issues.

The Corporate Security Agent executes each assignment with consistency, accountability, and attention to detail. Whether assigned to a static post or rover function, the agent maintains post readiness, situational awareness, and operational discipline throughout the shift.

Position Summary

White Glove Protection Group is seeking an experienced Corporate Security Agent to support safety, security, and client service operations at a corporate headquarters in a high-standards, high-visibility technology environment. This role is responsible for providing security coverage across multiple posts within the headquarters, including the lobby, executive floor, and rover assignment.

The Corporate Security Agent functions as a visible yet discreet security professional who protects the workplace through awareness, response readiness, access control support, and professional engagement with employees, executives, and visitors. This role requires sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to operate independently, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Post Operations and Security Coverage

  • Provide security coverage across multiple headquarters posts, including lobby, executive floor, and rover assignments.

  • Maintain a constant state of awareness regarding safety, security, suspicious activity, policy violations, and environmental concerns.

  • Execute post duties with professionalism, consistency, and attentiveness in alignment with company standards and site-specific procedures.

  • Support shift continuity by assuming post coverage and providing relief for other agents as directed.

Lobby Post Responsibilities

  • Monitor the lobby of the corporate headquarters for safety and security issues.

  • Support visitor management procedures, including guest reception coordination, access verification, badge processes, and adherence to visitor protocols.

  • Maintain awareness of individuals entering and exiting the facility and escalate suspicious or unauthorized activity appropriately.

  • Provide a welcoming, professional presence that supports both security objectives and a positive client experience.

  • Coordinate with reception, employees, and other stakeholders to ensure visitor issues are handled efficiently and professionally.

Executive Floor Responsibilities

  • Monitor the executive floor for safety and security issues while maintaining a discreet, service-oriented presence.

  • Support a secure and professional environment for executives, executive assistants, and authorized visitors.

  • Respond to client needs, service requests, and security concerns on the executive floor with urgency, discretion, and sound judgment.

  • Maintain awareness of executive activity, scheduled visitors, deliveries, and sensitive activity occurring within assigned areas.

  • Escalate incidents, access concerns, suspicious behavior, or policy violations in accordance with established procedures.

Rover Post Responsibilities

  • Conduct patrols of the interior and exterior of the corporate headquarters to identify safety, security, maintenance, and access control concerns.

  • Inspect assigned areas for unsecured doors, hazards, suspicious activity, and other issues requiring correction or escalation.

  • Serve as a mobile security presence capable of responding to calls for service, incidents, alarms, or urgent client needs.

  • Provide relief for lobby, executive floor, or other posts as needed to support uninterrupted security coverage.

  • Maintain awareness of changing conditions across the headquarters and communicate significant observations to leadership or the appropriate internal partner.

Incident Response and Escalation

  • Respond promptly and professionally to medical incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, safety hazards, access control issues, and other workplace security concerns.

  • Take immediate and appropriate action during emergencies in accordance with site protocols, emergency procedures, and chain-of-command expectations.

  • Notify leadership, emergency responders, or internal stakeholders as appropriate based on the nature of the incident.

  • Document incidents, observations, and post activity thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner.

Access Control and Visitor Management

  • Support physical access control procedures for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.

  • Verify credentials, permissions, and access authorization in accordance with site policy.

  • Assist with executive and VIP visitor arrivals in a manner that balances hospitality, discretion, and control.

  • Identify and address access anomalies, tailgating, unauthorized access attempts, or deviations from visitor procedures.

Client Service and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Interact professionally with executives, employees, visitors, and business partners in a high-touch corporate environment.

  • Deliver security support in a manner that is polished, calm, discreet, and customer-service oriented.

  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with reception, facilities, workplace teams, executive assistants, and other partners.

  • Represent the security program in a manner consistent with the culture and expectations of a technology company headquarters.

Quality Control and Readiness

  • Maintain readiness of assigned post, equipment, communications devices, and appearance standards throughout the shift.

  • Remain current on post orders, standard operating procedures, emergency protocols, and client expectations.

  • Participate in training, drills, briefings, and other readiness activities as directed.

  • Contribute to a culture of accountability, professionalism, discretion, and continuous improvement.

Required Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in observing, identifying, and reporting safety and security concerns in a corporate environment.

  • Ability to monitor and control access in accordance with visitor management and badge/access procedures.

  • Strong incident response capability, including the ability to assess situations quickly and escalate appropriately.

  • Ability to conduct patrols and inspections of interior and exterior spaces with attention to detail.

  • Working knowledge of emergency procedures, radio communications, incident documentation, and post discipline.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a professional, non-uniformed, high-touch environment requiring discretion and customer service.

Required Cognitive Skills

Required Qualifications

  •  5 years of experience in corporate security, executive protection, high-end security, law enforcement, military, or a related field.

  • Experience working in a customer-facing, high-expectation environment preferred.

  • Experience supporting executives, corporate headquarters, or high-profile environments preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.

  • Current California BSIS guard card, Exposed firearm permit, and CCW/LEOSA.

  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including overtime, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

  • Ability to stand, walk, patrol, climb stairs, and remain alert for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a corporate technology environment or other high-end corporate headquarters setting.

  • Experience supporting executive floor operations or executive workplace environments.

  • Experience with access control systems, visitor management platforms, and incident reporting systems.

  • Background in executive protection, concierge security, or discreet client-facing security roles.

  • Strong understanding of hospitality-driven security in a professional business setting.
