Position Summary
White Glove Protection is seeking an experienced Embedded Director of Executive Protection to oversee protective operations and team execution across designated shifts in a high-standards, high-discretion executive protection program. Reporting directly to the Global Director of Executive Protection, this role is responsible for managing the day-to-day field operations, coordinating advance work, ensuring operational discipline, and serving as the tactical and logistical linchpin during each shift.
As an operational leader, the Embedded Director of Executive Protection functions as a player/coach by executing protective operations while actively mentoring agents and modeling the conduct, mindset, and precision required to meet the client’s standards. This role is central to daily quality control, tactical leadership, and the development of team discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Execution
Participate, direct and oversee daily EP operations during assigned shifts, including advance work, secure transport, post coverage, and movement coordination.
Maintain tactical control of all agent assignments, ensuring clear communication, readiness, and adherence to the operational plan.
Execute last-minute plan modifications with precision and discretion in response to environmental or client-driven changes.
Team Supervision
Lead and supervise assigned Executive Protection, Security Drivers, Corporate Protection Agents, and Residential Protection Agents as an operational member of the protective team.
Lead by example during all protective operations, embodying calm professionalism, discretion, and adaptability.
Coach agents in real-time, providing tactical instruction, situational feedback, and performance reinforcement.
Foster a shift culture built on mentorship, clarity of purpose, and operational consistency.
Advance Work and Site Readiness
Conduct or validate advance site surveys, route assessments, and venue security reviews.
Ensure protective plans include vetted contingencies, communications protocols, and emergency coordination points.
Collaborate with the Global Director of Executive Protection to ensure all protective planning aligns with principal preferences and threat profiles.
Client Interface & Ecosystem Engagement
Represent the protection team in day-to-day engagements with executive assistants, domestic staff, logistical partners, and support personnel.
Maintain a respectful, professional presence that reflects discretion, competence, and alignment with the principal’s lifestyle.
Quality Control and Readiness
Create and facilitate the team's success as you enforce SOPs, checklists, and field standards with zero deviation.
Support sustainment training, new team member onboarding, and field mentorship.
Serve as the first layer of coaching and performance accountability for assigned agents, ensuring readiness and mission alignment.

Required Technical Skills
Proficiency in close protection tactics, surveillance detection, secure driving, advance work, and emergency response.
Proven field experience in conducting threat assessments, route planning, site surveys, and covert security measures.
Ability to manage high-stakes environments, including complex public venues and rural or aquatic settings.
Operational knowledge of SOP development and team integration for tactical execution.
Required Cognitive Skills
Tactical decision-making under pressure, with an ability to quickly adapt to evolving threats.
Strong ability to lead collaborative field projects and team-based tasks.

Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in executive protection, security operations, or a related field, with a background in law enforcement, military, or corporate security preferred.
Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.
Current certifications in CPR, AED.
Current California BSIS Guard Card and Exposed Firearms Permit
Current California CCW/HR-218 license
