Job Summary: White Glove Protection Group (WGP) is seeking highly skilled and experienced security professionals to fill hybrid roles as Security Driver/Residential Protection Agents to provide 24/7-armed security at the residences of high-net-worth individuals and corporate executives. The Security Driver/Residential Protection Agent will ensure safe and secure ground transportation along with residential security services, adhering to all legal requirements for carrying firearms in a private residential environment. This role is critical in maintaining a secure and safe environment for the executive and their family.

Shift: 12 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

1. Protective Driving & Transportation

  • Provide safe, secure, and discreet transportation for the principal, family, and guests.
  • Execute tactical/defensive driving, countersurveillance, and evasive maneuvers when necessary and in compliance with law and policy.
  • Conduct route analysis (traffic, weather, threat advisories, roadway conditions) and maintain P-A-C-E routes (Primary, Alternate, Contingency, Emergency).
  • Maintain expert knowledge of local, regional, and international road networks, and airports.
2.  Vehicle Readiness & Maintenance
  • Ensure assigned vehicles are mission-ready: fueled/charged, clean, serviced, and stocked with comfort and emergency items.
  • Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintain detailed vehicle maintenance logs.
  • Stock comfort items (e.g., water, tissues, chargers, umbrellas) per client profile.
3.  Security & Emergency Response
  • Maintain vigilance during movements, load/unload procedures, and holding positions.
  • Respond decisively to emergencies, including medical events, accidents, or security incidents.
  • Execute pre-briefed emergency response protocols (ERPs) such as evasive driving, rapid evacuation, or coordination with law enforcement. hotels, and venues.
4.  Armed Residential Protection
  • Firearm Management: Carry and manage firearms in strict adherence to all state and federal laws pertaining to private residential security.
  • Vigilance: Maintain a high level of vigilance and readiness to respond to any security threats.
5. Security Sweeps
  • Property Surveillance: Conduct regular security sweeps of the property to identify and address potential security breaches or vulnerabilities.
  • Threat Detection: Utilize advanced surveillance techniques to detect and neutralize potential threats.
6. Monitoring and Communication
  • Surveillance Systems: Monitor security cameras and utilize radios, phones, and other electronic devices to maintain constant awareness of the residence’s security status.
  • Incident Reporting: Promptly report any suspicious activities or security breaches to the Operations Manager and Executive Protection team.
7. Access Control
  • Security Measures: Ensure all alarms, doors, and windows are secured at all times.
  • Authorization Management: Manage access to the residence, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
8. Emergency Action Plans
  • Coordination: Develop and coordinate emergency action plans to respond effectively to any security incidents.
  • Crisis Management: Act swiftly and efficiently in emergency situations to ensure the safety of the residence and its occupants.
9. Vendor Escorts
  • Vendor Management: Provide security escorts for vendors and service providers as needed to ensure they do not pose any security risks.
  • Supervision: Oversee the activities of vendors while they are on the property to maintain a secure environment.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Advanced education or relevant certifications in security or law enforcement are preferred.  Current certifications in Advanced First Aid, CPR/AED.
  • Graduate of a reputable Executive Protection Driving / Defensive Driving program (Preferred).
  • License: Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record, Current Texas Level 4 PPO
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional driving and Residential Security experience in law enforcement, military, or executive protection environments. 
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in the use of firearms and adherence to legal requirements.
    • Strong abilities in threat detection and risk management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Capability to perform security sweeps and monitor surveillance systems.
  • Attributes:
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
    • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.
    • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and environments.
Working Conditions:
  • Environment: This position requires working in a private residential setting with the expectation of maintaining a high-security presence.
  • Schedule: Nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Physical Requirements: Must maintain a high level of physical fitness to perform security duties effectively. Ability to work long hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
